Monk Evan P. Nicolai was a Russian Orthodox monk in 2021. In October of that year, he turned himself into police in Kodiak, Alaska, to report that he had sexually abused an 8-year-old child. The monk had stayed in the following locations in Alaska: Anchorage, Bethel, Eklutna, Homer, and Kaktovik, as well as a monastery about an hour outside of Phoenix, Arizona
