Former priest found guilty of indecency with a child

An El Paso jury found a man guilty of indecency with a minor today, almost ten years after he was originally charged.
Roy John Givens was a priest at St. Rafael’s church in El Paso. He was originally charged in 1994, but went on the run.
He was arrested in March after the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office tracked him down in Springfield, Illinois.
