Bail for DVD man

Conditional bail was granted on Tuesday, November 20, to a Liverpool man who allegedly tried to smuggle DVDs containing child pornography. Rajko Dobre appeared in Kogarah Local Court charged with intentionally importing banned goods. The maximum penalty is a $275,000 fine and/or 10 years in jail. Customs officers stopped the 44-year-old man when he arrived at Sydney International Airport from Thailand on Sunday, November 18. The matter was adjourned to Waverley Local Court on Monday, December 3.
