Nick Pappas calls attention to correction to story last year that incorrectly said now-defrocked former GOA priest served as chanter at his parish

Dear Editor:

Last year you were nice enough to publish a correction to a Hellenic Chronicle article that reported the former Rev. Emmanuel Koveos — who has since been defrocked — was serving as a chanter at the Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, Mass. As the correction states, that was not true.

Unfortunately, our Parish Council president has been approached by several people of late who have seen that article on your site, along with the letters from Catherine and Evan Metropoulos, and Greta Larson that repeat the same misinformation.

Therefore, is there any chance of attaching a copy of the correction to the bottom of these three items, as well as any other items you may have posted on your Web site that carries the error? Clearly, the correction standing alone in your archives isn’t visible enough for people who have an interest in this matter.

I realize I may be asking a lot here, but I’m sure you can understand my reasons for making such a request.
