Father Anastasios Gounaris Denies Allegations

Pokrov.org recently received an email from Father Anastasios Gounaris, Dean of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral in New York, New York. In it, the priest denied the allegations contained in a article published by The National Herald on December 13, 2013, entitled “Cathedral Dean Father Gounaris is Accused of a Violent Tantrum.” Gounaris had not responded to the Herald’s request for a comment, although the paper did hear from Bishop Andonios Paropoulos.
