Yesterday was the fourth anniversary of Scott Nevin’s suicide outside Saint Anthony Greek Orthodox Monastery in Florence, Arizona. We extend our sympathy to his family and friends. May they find comfort in their unimaginable grief.

Sadly, nothing has been done in the past four years to ensure that this tragedy will not be repeated. What appears to be a sect within the Church that acts like a destructive cult continues to operate with impunity.

We have no power to remedy that. However, we can remind the Faithful that what happened to Scott could happen again, because nothing has changed in the years since his death.
