Former Attica Bishop found dead in Keratea

Former Attica Bishop Panteleimon Bezenitis was found dead at Vgethi beach, Keratea, in northeastern Attica, on Wednesday, July 2.
Former Bishop lost his life while swimming in the region, where his summer-house is located. The body was transferred by an EKAV emergency assistance ambulance members and transferred to Kalyvia Health Center in Keratea, where doctors verified his death.
The Central Port Authority of Lavrio is conducting an investigation on the case, to determine the cause of his death.
