Former Priest Faces New Charges

A former Burlington priest has denied new charges in connection with his conviction for fondling a teenage parishioner.

The new charges come seven years after former Greek Orthodox priest Emmanuel Koveos was convicted of molesting a 13-year-old girl in his Burlington church.

He served six months in prison of a five year suspend sentence. Now he is accused of failing to complete sex offender counseling on probation.

Koveos denied the charge and was released on condition pending a hearing.
