The Prosecutor’s Office has opened the safe confiscated from the house of Archpriest Giorgi Mamaladze, charged for having attempted to poison a high-ranking clergyman.
The procedural investigative action was carried out in the Prosecutor’s Office and it was attended by the lawyers in the so-called Cyanide case. The lawyers said the investigators became suspicious of the safe after the archpriest did not allow them to open it. However, the safe was opened today and turned out to be empty.
“They opened the safe and there was nothing. The investigators became suspicious of the safe after the archpriest did not allow them to open it. Today we attended the opening of the safe and it turned out to be empty,” the lawyer said.
