The Târgu Mureș Court of Appeal decided on Wednesday to reject the appeal of the singer Cristian Pomohaci against the preventive arrest warrant issued by the Mureș Tribunal for a period of 30 days. Pomohaci is being investigated for high-risk drug trafficking, being accused of having procured, possessed, and distributed prohibited substances between 2024 and 2026.

Following a search of his residence, authorities discovered a quantity of 3 CMC drugs, as well as nearly 2 million euros in various currencies. Additionally, Pomohaci is involved in another case regarding sexual assault and rape of a minor. The Mureș Tribunal postponed the ruling on a second appeal filed by the artist related to the preventive arrest in this case.
