Father Cristian Pomohaci

Father Cristian Pomohaci was a clergyman in the Romanian Orthodox Church.

In July of 2017, the priest was defrocked for “bringing extraordinary prejudices on the (church’s) image.” However, he can appeal this decision.

The clergyman is also being investigated by the civil authorities. There is apparently a tape in which Pomohaci appears to be trying to persuade a seventeen year old boy to have sex with him.

The former priest has denied the charges.

Pomohaci was arrested on charges of sexual assault and rape of a child in June of 2026.
