Ex-archbishop charged with sex crimes

WINNIPEG – A former archbishop has been charged with two counts of sexual abuse stemming from alleged incidents that occurred over 20 years ago.

Kenneth William Storheim, 64, flew to Winnipeg from Edmonton on Wednesday to surrender to police.

The assaults allegedly occurred between 1984 and 1987 when Storheim was rector at Holy Trinity Sodor in Winnipeg.

He was released on a cash surety and a recognizance.
