An engineer from Wilkes-Barre was sentenced Friday to one year in prison for bribing a Luzerne County school director.
It is the latest punishment handed down in the on-going corruption scrandal.
Michael Pasonick offered cash to a Luzerne County board member in exchange for a contract back in 2007. He admitted he offered the elected officials between $1,000 and $5,000.
As part of his sentence Pasonick must also pay a $250,000 fine.
