Moschonas Asks For Records of Criminal Investigation

On September 8, 2008, Fr. Anthony Moschonas filed a civil action against the Phoenix Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Fr. Anthony wants access to the materials accumulated in the FBI’s 2007 criminal investigation of the priest. The investigation did not result in any charges against Fr. Anthony, but he believes that the file may be relevant to the lawsuit for sexual misconduct which was filed against him earlier this year.
