Father Vadim Arefiev

Father Vadim Arefiev was a priest in the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR), Eastern American Diocese.

In 2014 the priest was sued by the Сhurch of Our Lady  “The Inexhaustible Chalice” in Brooklyn, New York, to recover money that vanished from an escrow account to which the clergyman has access.

According to the New York Post, Fr. Arefiev was removed from the Brooklyn parish 2013. He then began working at the Church of the Mother of God “Unexpected Joy” on Staten Island.

The  ROCOR Synod of Bishops laicized the priest in 2016.
