Public Allegations

In this section we list Orthodox Christians and Eastern Rite Catholics who have been publicly accused of injuring another person. We also include clergy who have been accused of sexual misconduct. (Sexual misconduct is behavior which is inconsistent with Orthodox or Catholic teachings on sexuality.)

When the allegations have been denied, this is always reported.

These claims have not yet been subjected to a criminal court, a church court, or the civil court process. However, we believe that there is merit in bringing these accusations to the attention of the Orthodox community.

We strive for accuracy. Consequently, if you have information that the accusations have been retracted, please share that information with us. You can expedite the correction process by providing documentation to support your contention.
